Morning...

I know I don't post on here a lot but sometimes I just don't crochet every day..  But I have been trying to catch up.   So here is my lastest doily that I found online and I'm doing it by just a photo.  It hasn't been to hard and I'm almost finished. Finding out the two thread I purchased aren't enough and the second one is a slightly different color... So now I need to figure out what to do...
I believe I have about four more rows...  Dilemma, what to do after all the work and hours..
I will have to see if I can find something simular ...  At any rate have a lovely day..  Hapoy crocheting

Embroidery...

     Good morning ladies...
I worked yesterday on my pillow case instead on my doily.  I needed a change of pace.  And I have been doing this forever..  So yesterday I finished up all the roses.  And then finished up the leaves...

There is quite a bit to do. I had found these two like new pillow cases while thrifting just for a couple of dollars.  I was so surprised they were so cheap..
They have tatted edges on them in white...  So I decided to use my rose transfer on them...
So my new goal is to get this one finished and start the other and completed right away, well hopefully.  I stayed up late last night trying to get more done...
My vintage sewing basket which I love dearly.
It is where I keep my pillow case and some embroidery thread...  A pair of sissors and my two hoops.
Almost ready for the french knotts.  Just a couple more vines to do then the french knotts and I will be all finished...  There are just two vines left...
I used full thread because I wanted the roses and embroidery to stand out...  My winter comforter is bold with roses and pink strips..  So I made them just as bold...  So it's off to finish up.  Wishing you a great Monday and a fabulous new week..
Happy crocheting, and in this case Happy Embroidery... With love Janice

My word I finished...

Good evening my dear crocheting friends,  I have finally finished my first instructions by book doily.  It was indeed a challange.  But I got throught it and finished.  The last three rows were taking foe er it seemed like..
They were three rows of single crochets, the last being singles with picots..
The hardest part was the star points.  As I think I mentioned before this book gave half written instructions then the rest was diagram.  And it happen to start with the start parts... Really I said, because I just couldn't figure were these little clusters went, being that I don't really know how thoses work either.  I ripped that part out at least three or four  times..
It is deying now, I did not block it completely with pins i washed it and stretched it and lightly sprayed it... And I'm ok with it...

So now its time to finish up this doily.  Have a wonderful weekend with love.  Happy crocheting
