Switch...

Idk, but sometimes I get bored with what I'm doing so I have to switch over to something else.. Or I get this
grand idea in my head and just have to start on it right away.. leaving some other project behind and half finished.. I don't know why this happens but it does on many occasions..
So this is what I switched over to the other day.. though I'm still working on my long runner..
Since Fall is around corner I felt like doing something for Fall/Autumn.. I remember I had got this copper color looking thread last year.. so I pulled it out and made a flower with it.. Then I had on this Lacy beige top and I was sitting im my oldest daughter's car.. and thought hum.. pulled out the beige thread and started something else.. which I have made before many times over.. I usually crochet by eye.. but I remembered some of the beginning..
So I made the first part Of a Vintage pot Holder dress..
I love this Pot Holder Dress....

I also crocheted a little leaf to go one the belt...
Almost complete.... just a bit more..
see you soon
Happy Crocheting
with love
Janice

  1. CUTE!! So great in those fall colors. Hey, I made that lemon linguini today for lunch from Susan Branch's cookbook. It was delicious. The hubby liked it too, which surprised me. It's a keeper!! I used cilantro instead of parsley and it worked well. Please post more of your cooking. I love seeing it along with your other stuff. I guess that would be for your other blog. Have a good rest of the week! ♥♥♥

  2. I switch back and forth on several things. Or sometimes will put something aside for a quick project.

  3. Me too, I can never stick to one thing. I always switch between projects midway. The potholder dress is very cute.

  5. Never, ever do I stick to one thing. Your doily dress is so very sweet. I wish I had natural talent to crochet by eye. For something that detailed, I would definitely need a pattern. Best wishes, Tammy
